Adelaide Fringe 2023
QT (Quiet Time)
The interactive experience and performance QT (Quiet Time) returns to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in February for Adelaide Fringe Festival 2023. The performance was created by Ashton Malcolm and Josephine Fitzgerald, in collaboration with a brilliant local musician and performer and supported by THRF Group – Creative Health.
Re-engaging with themes that encapsulated their initial performance at the RAH in 2020 – playful, surprising and surreal – QT (Quiet Time) invites staff, visitors and patients of the Royal Adelaide Hospital to enjoy gentle and unexpected moments of human connection and creativity.
Designed specifically for the RAH, this most recent offering provides an opportunity for participants to create unique handwritten messages for their loved ones and to captivate the hospital community with a visually spectacular theatrical sequence performed by the artists in the RAH’s central courtyard.
It is a truly special experience for us to bring QT back to the RAH, after our first version back in 2020. We love working with this team and feel very lucky to be sharing live performance and unexpected creative moments with visitors, patients and staff again. – Ashton Malcom, 2023.
